Elder BuildingFremantle AttractionsThe Elder Building in Fremantle was constructed in 1902 for Dalgety and Co Pty Ltd (London). The building was designed by architect J.J. Talbot Hobbs and built by W H Vincent. During the first World War the Australian Navy used this building to track the movements of vessels in the Indian Ocean. The building is also known as the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Building, another shipping company.
